While ” all Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness” – certain passages have been favorites of the mystics throughout the ages. They liked these passages for what they indicated or hinted at (hence the “mystery” root in the word mysticism) – regarding our transformation, God’s being, or our relationship with Him (among others). This is not an exhaustive list – but it’s a good list. I hope you’ll find some peacefully firey moments before the Lord through meditating on these.
